Piano, Keyboards, and Vocals


Bill was born in Warner Robbins, Georgia.

He moved to Tallahassee, Florida where he began playing the piano at the age of 6. He began playing for family and friends but later spent his High School summers playing Southern Gospel music for the prison ministry at his church. Bill placed third, twice in the Marlboro Talent Country Showdown.

Bo Diddley heard him play and hired him.

In 1990 Bill joined Florida's "Fleatwater Sound Shop". Gene Kennedy of Nashville, Tennessee signed them to Doorknob Records where they opened for Conway Twitty, George Jones, Michelle Wright, Tracy Bird, Shenandoah, Lee Greenwood, Ronna Reeves, and Confederate Railroad.
