Down Rite Country performs many of the old standards of country with great songs from Bob Will's Texas Playboys and Asleep at The Wheel. The band features Carl Mayfield on lead vocals, fiddle, and guitar! Carl does it all and is backed by a 4 piece band. It sounds down rite country.
Jim McGuire,Western Balladeer
Jim McGuire, wearing a gun on his hip, black leather vest, and black cowboy hat, is the real thing- an authentic western gunslinger, songwriter, and balladeer. He sings acapella as a strolling musician or with the accompaniment of guitar and fiddle.
For your venue or event, Jim prefers to use prepared performance tracks which were recorded and arranged by hired engineers. If you close your eyes you will believe that you are hearing the voice of Marty Robbins or Jim Reeves.
