Native resident District 23 for 51 years. Established

businesswoman, humanitarian, energetic mother of two,

grandmother, married to Jim McGuire 35 years. Born in

Ray-Sonora, gained hardworking values in multi-ethnic

mining community. Graduated Ray District High.

Community college District 23. Professional certifications

in worldwide travel industry. Sheriff Posse member and

NRA member.

Copper Basin 2004 Citizen of the Year. Salvation Army's

Leadership Award for distinguished service as Copper Basin

Extension Unit Director 15 years. Copper Basin

Chamber member; served Board of Directors 4 yrs. Barbara

established and coordinates Christmas Angel Tree and

Youth Camp programs for underprivileged past 8 years.

Barbara believes in: Workers rights to bargain collectively.

Decent minimum wage. Equal pay for equal work for all.

No discrimination. Family values. Protect jobs against

illegal immigration. Border control. Fair compensation for

teachers. Educate students to compete globally. Fairly

compensated State employees. Support police and military.
